Just thought you might want to mark your calendars. =8^)
I, Rich Brooks, am going to be part of an all-day Web Marketing workshop put on by The Maine Crafts Association on Friday, September 16th.
According to the tri-fold I was just sent,
this workshop de-mystifies how the web really works: how to
evaluate if it’s an effective marketing tool for you; and if so, how to
use it effectively.By the end of this workshop you will:
- Know how to effectively use the internet as a marketing tool
- Know what makes for an effective, attractive web site
- Know what to look for in selecting a web designer–what to take into account (price, skill, etc.)
- Know how to drive traffic to your web site
- Be aware of other strategies for marketing your work using the web
Instructors: Chaya Caron, Cathy Heinz, Rick Dieffenbach (Allure Creative), Rich Brooks (flyte new media) and Sally Loving (InBox Marketing.)
The event takes place at the Brunswick Public Library from 9am – 4pm.
If you’re interested you should call 207.780.1807, because I don’t see
a place online to register, and there’s little other info on the site.
In fact, only Rick’s name is mentioned, and they spelled it wrong! Oops! (Maybe not by the time you see this.)
Oh, by the way, this ain’t free. It’s $80 for members, $110 for non-members. Still, for an all-day program it’s a damn good price. I might even stick around for some free muffins and to see what everyone else is saying.
