College Boot Camp for High School Seniors

Bootcamp_finalToday I received an email from Michele Hernandez of Hernandez College Consulting. She's the author of A is for Admission: The Insider's Guide for Getting into the Ivy League and Other Top Colleges, and is also a client of flyte's.

She's partnering on a new venture with Mimi Doe of Spiritual Parenting: The Spiritual Retreat for Parents on the Web. Her latest book is Nurturing Your Teenager's Soul, and she's also a long-time client of ours.

Recently, they co-launched a Web site for their new book entitled, Don't Worry, You'll Get In: 100 Winning Tips for Stress-Free College Admissions.

Now they're putting on the "First Ever College Application Boot Camp for Seniors" and Michele wanted to know how to fill the last few spots on their list. She of course turned to this Web marketing guru. (Is that laughter I hear? I expected at least a polite golf clap.)

I wanted to suggest a blog, but since this inaugural 3.5 day Boot Camp takes place in New York on August 25 - 28, 2005, I figured they wouldn't have enough time to really see the benefit...at least for this year's boot camp.

So, I'm mentioning it here, with a public suggestion that these two excellent authors consider creating a blog to support their book, promote next year's boot camp, and help lost high school seniors from across the globe navigate the stormy ocean of college applications!
