How to Build a Web Site That Builds Your Business - A Free Web Marketing Seminar
Almost forgot, I'll be putting on the last of the flyte summer series at the Dale Carnegie Training Classrooms in South Portland, Maine this month. (However, I am thinking of extending it to include a search engine seminar, but I have to clear that w/the good folks over at DCTC in SP, ME.)
The upcoming Web marketing seminar is called "How to Build a Web Site That Builds Your Business."
As I told someone today, I won't actually be teaching you how to create HTML code...that would be very, very boring indeed. Instead, I'll be talking about what goes into a Web site to make it a successful tool for your business.
You'll learn:
- The questions to ask before developing a Web site.
- How to uncover your business goals and Web site needs, and how they differ
- How to create a Web site that will grow with your company
- How to “write for the Web” and how it differs from traditional writing
- How to use your site to cut costs and reduce employee workloads
- Which interactive tools can improve customer retention and increase sales
- How to enable your site with e-commerce
- How to market your Web site to drive traffic and customers to your front door
- How to update, maintain and grow your Web site over time
- How to avoid the 10 common mistakes that can ruin your Web site and bog down your business.
Wow. That's a lot of stuff. How am I going to fit that into 60 minutes? Well, you can expect to learn most of that stuff, but only if I talk really fast.
