Chopstick Instructions: How to Use Chopsticks
Why am I posting this? Not sure. It's late Friday afternoon after a long week and I'm burnt.
I got this pair of chopsticks with lunch today.

This is very weird. My best friend and I have been liberally using the term "glonious" for the past five years or so because it was in a fortune cookie.

Have you considered the concept of marketing on engrish? It created a discussion of their food and made people laugh. What better advertising can you get then smiles and people thinking about your business?

I have always enjoyed that phrase: "now you can pick up anything." Cars? Chicks? Certainly not noodles...those are impossible without a fork. Thanks, Rich, for your informative and entertaining blog and newsletter!

Ben,
The question is, did you get showered with much "love" or much "lunch?"

Rich, I think it was much luck!

I have a chopstick package in front of me similar to yours, but your Engrish is much worse, LOL. Mine has the instructions: "Tuck under thumb and hold firmly", "Learn how to use your chopsticks", "Add second chopstick hold it as you hold a pencil", "Hold first chopstick in original position move the second one up and down Now you can pick up anything". On the front, however: "Welcome to Chinese Restaurant. please try your Nice Chinese Food With Chopsticks the traditional and typical of Chinese glonous history. and cultual." And where was this? Jerusalem II Pizza, a Jewish restaurant, served with sushi. LOL.
