&lt;p&gt;Tick is a pretty straight forward application and for the most part it works as you would expect. For those few features that needed a little extra clarification, we decided to address them right at the spot of confusion. The trick is of course, getting people to read the help copy. So the strategy was to keep it lite and write it the same way we&#039;d say it to your face. So far it seems to be working. We&#039;ve made a few edits since launch, but we&#039;re really trying to keep the personality in there. We wouldn&#039;t sacrifice clarity for a laugh, but if we can make our point and get a smirk that&#039;s a pretty good balance.&lt;/p&gt;
