Why I Hired a Hot Chick

Cybelebig_2
I know it’s not politically correct, but the other day I hired a hot chick.

I didn’t interview anyone else for the position. In fact, there wasn’t a position. So I made one up. I know it sounds like an episode of Ally McBeal, but it just felt like the right thing to do.

Luckily for me, the new hire is my wife, Cybéle. Luckily for flyte, she has an MBA in marketing, a solid financial foundation from working at People’s (now TD BankNorth), and has spent the last seven years doing marketing and operations for a technology company here in Portland.

Quite honestly, I can’t tell you how happy I am to take the invoicing and financial responsibilities off my desk so I can get back to what I do best: making coffee.

If you’d like to learn more about Cybéle, you can check out her bio on our crew page.
