Clients often ask why we like to get their content all at once rather than as they finish it. Are we just trying to make their life more difficult?
Nothing could be further from the truth.
I try and explain by way of this metaphor:
It’s very easy to hand off a box of Cap’n Crunch. However, transferring all that cereal without the box is a messy affair.
Pieces invariably get lost, destroyed or overwritten. (OK, cereal doesn’t get overwritten, but you get the point.)
Project management is about keeping all of those pieces inside the box so nothing gets lost.

In my office we don't begin work on a file until we receive all the necessary documentation. So it would only make sense that this would apply to your business as well.
