Great point. I actually thought they had a link from their umbrella site, but I don't see it.

Of course, everyone's blog goals are different. Although we have links on our Web site to our blog, we don't make it obvious.

I prefer to use my blog as a way of attracting search engine traffic, establishing our expertise, and directing visitors to our Web site for the "conversion."

I wish I had a dime for every time I rave about your great postings — I learn something every time I visit. Just a comment regarding Maine Adventure Sails, however. I see no link to their blog from their home page. If they dedicate the time to creating a blog, why not promote it on their site?
